     HOW TO ORDER:
1.  DINOSAUR STYLE
If ordering Dinosaur Style (thru the mail), you can print out this sheet, then circle the price of what you want and mail it in with either a check or a Credit Card #.
2.  ONLINE  Sorry, this is not a full-function interactive website with a shopping cart and card processing ability.  It's Dinosaur-style; it only has listings.  Still, we can improvise!

You can
send me an e-mail and type out what you want and the price.  Make sure you let me know whether you want a Cut Square or a Full Corner
OR, you can cut & paste the item with its description and price.  If you need to HIGHLIGHT anything, please do it in green (00CC00 for the techs out there).
I accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express.  I also accept PAY PAL,
at my e-mail address of "slwarking@erols.com".
3.  PHONE  IF your order is relatively simple, or if you have a few questions, you can phone me at 718-939-5788.  For me, there's no such thing as "business hours".  I'm usually in, and if I'm not, you get the answering machine.  Leave your #; I'll get back to you.

TERMS OF PURCHASE:  Items from this list may be combined with items from my other lists for a MINIMUM ORDER of $15.  ALL ORDERS will be shipped via Insured or Registered mail, for your protection.  Please add $2 for
postage and insurance to all orders.  There's never a "handling" fee; just actual postage expen
ses.  This is for U.S. orders only.  Overseas shipments, please e-mail me in advance for shipping information.
New York State Residents, please add the appropriate Sales tax.
VISA, Master Card and American Express are accepted: please include all information which appears in raised print, PLUS the 3 digit security code which appears on the back.

SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED ON ALL ORDERS

Dear Friends & Collectors,

It's been awhile since my last Monthly posting.  I regret my "absence"; the major cause of which was my appendectomy and recovery earlier this year.  In fact, I've been here all along, both filling orders and buying new material.  AND working on a new project.

During the past 6 months I've picked up a LOT of new items.  Both the CUT SQUARE and UNUSED & USED POSTAL CARDS lists have been bulked up a bit.  There's a PILE of envelopes by UPSS# already processed, just waiting to be listed, as well as another pile yet to be processed.  There's a table top full of First Day Covers, Postal History and new EFOs waiting to be put up on Ebay.  I'll be e-mailing you when they're up.

I just placed an order with the USPS for a bunch of the newer Picture Postal Cards, and I'll be taking care of the envelopes and regular cards shortly.  I'll list them as soon as they're in.

I've also been working on a special project...a fully interactive website.  It's still in development, but if you'd like to take a look at it now you'll find it here:  http://www.stevelevinestamps.com/.

Eventually, that will be my new website address.  You might want to bookmark it now.  The website you're on now will be transferred into a sub-directory of the new website, which can be accessed either directly or thru a link in the new website.  I plan to keep these typed pages going for awhile longer...maybe a few years.  The UPSS Specialized page might just hang around forever, as it's a bit complex for the new website.

What I've loaded into the new website is mostly POSTAL STATIONERY FIRST DAY COVERS, which I haven't offered on this website.

The new site is under development and not yet fully functional...and the "inventory tracking" isn't yet programmed in....but it's workable.  You can place an order & send payment by check or Credit Card as you've done all along.

What the new website will have that this one doesn't....is pictures.  Not at first, but sooner or later, all items will have scans.

MEANWHILE, the new 2010 Scott Specialized U.S. Catalog is out.  Although it's only 14 pages larger than last year, the price has gone up $10 to a staggering $80.  I see it becoming a 2-volume set in the future.  From what I've seen in the stationery section, price changes are few & far between, mostly very minor upticks.

envelope; the other 4 have "short" N's in the
word "UNITED".  It's a constant variety.

NEW UPSS ENVELOPE VARIETY!!
SCOTT #U539, SIZE 23 WINDOW

This isn't the first envelope I've discovered during the past near-30 years, but it's the most exciting.  In the past I've found previously undiscovered Watermarks; this is the first new configuration.  It's currently unlisted in the UPSS 20th Century Envelope Catalog.  The underlying envelope is UPSS #2577-43.  The surcharge was applied in 1958; these have been undiscovered for 51 years.

I have 10 of these.  9 bear the Corner Card in the scan; One has a slightly different CC.  The overall condition is near-excellent, with the envelopes having a minor crease at the upper left.

IN THEORY, at least 250 of these surcharges were created.  I can't tell you how many surcharges were printed with the CC of the Holly Chemical Company and I can't tell you how many were used & destroyed.  All I know is that I have only 10, the only 10 discovered in 51 years.

THE PRICE IS $300.00.  Each envelope will be signed and numbered, in light pencil under the back flap.

Sorry....wish I had more to offer.  If I can get thru the mess I have in the other room, the next posting will be better.

     Best Regards,
